San Diego
February 23, 2007
I've heard the weather is always perfect in San Diego and always rainy in Seattle.
I've been to Seattle a couple times and it only rained for about five minutes
once. It's been pouring in San Diego since I arrived yesterday, so I'll dismiss
that stereotype.
Despite the rain, we headed into the gaslamp district for dinner and upon one of
the downpours, we decided to eat at the closest place we could find; it was a Persian
restaurant. I felt like I was in these people's home; the walls were covered
with pictures of their family. The food also tasted like they had spent hours working
on it, one of the best home-made meals every made. It was fantastic.
After dinner, we simple wandered around, not getting a truly in depth feel of the
city, however a touch of it; plus we have to work tomorrow.
